Our Business Lending (BL) team specialises in working capital, business loans, asset finance, corporate finance, and property finance, collaborating closely with Relationship Executives and digital experience teams to help businesses thrive. Do Work That Matters As part of our Specialist Solutions (SS) team, you’ll bring expert knowledge and strategic thinking to help clients finance critical assets that drive their operations. Reporting to the Executive Manager Asset Finance, you’ll play a key role in generating asset finance opportunities with both existing and new-to-bank clients across a diverse range of industries and asset classes. This is a client-facing, growth-focused role where you’ll develop and implement proactive sales strategies to expand market share. You’ll be supported by a close-knit team and have the flexibility to work from various locations within Queensland. What You’ll Do Provide specialist advice on financing strategic assets such as production machinery, mining equipment, and fleet vehicles. Structure solutions that minimise capital outlay, align repayments with income generation, and offer flexibility for asset disposal. Build strong relationships with clients and Relationship Executives, offering guidance on asset finance solutions, tax implications, and structuring options. Identify new business opportunities through referrals, direct engagement, and industry insights, focusing on asset-heavy sectors. Support Relationship Executives through training, coaching, and regular updates on market trends and product solutions. Drive end-to-end deal execution, from pricing and structuring to documentation and compliance. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in Asset Finance, Business Banking, or a similar B2B environment. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activity. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to analyse financial statements, understand cash flow, and navigate tax and regulatory considerations. Knowledge of asset finance products and asset-heavy industries, with a proactive approach to business development. A risk-aware mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
