This is a dynamic, high-growth role where you will take full ownership of the sales budget, drive strategic partnerships, and introduce innovative product solutions to the region’s leading pet food manufacturers. Key Responsibilities Growth & Strategy : Define and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed the ANZ sales budget across the product portfolio and marketing services. Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong partnerships with existing customers and prospects to improve engagement and satisfaction. Account Planning : Develop strategic account plans for key clients, collaborating with internal stakeholders to leverage global methodologies. Business Development : Identify new leads and market opportunities in the pet food sector by leveraging your industry knowledge and professional network. Pipeline & Reporting : Record and track all opportunities in the pipeline tool; review weekly sales performance and develop action plans to address any gaps. Demand Forecasting : Ensure accurate monthly demand data is recorded in the S&OP system and participate in monthly demand review meetings. Financial Oversight : Manage the sales budget, implement pricing policies, and negotiate payment terms in accordance with company guidelines. Cross-Functional Support : Collaborate with technical experts on new product development (NPD) and support finance teams with timely payment collections. Customer Advocacy : Manage strategic negotiations, resolve complaints, and ensure all quality claims are reported promptly. The Ideal Candidate Education : Tertiary qualification in Animal Science, Food Science, or a related field is highly preferred. Experience : At least 3 years of experience in Sales or Account Management within the B2B food industry (pet food experience is a significant advantage). Proven Results : A strong track record of building trust-based partnerships and exceeding sales targets. Self-Management : Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritise key clients effectively. Communication : Excellent negotiation and presentation skills with high attention to detail. Tech Savvy : Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using BI (Business Intelligence) or CRM tools for sales tracking.
