Hours of Work
This position is:
* Full-time
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with Saturdays included as required
Your Role & Responsibilities
As a General Manager, you will:
* Lead all dealership operations to achieve sales and customer satisfaction standards.
* Oversee departmental managers, ensuring strong financial performance, compliance, and efficiency across all business units.
* Develop and implement short and long-term strategic plans, budgets, and performance objectives.
* Champion The Toyota Way through effective leadership, staff development, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
* Represent the dealership in the community and across the Toyota dealer network, fostering strong relationships with customers, industry partners, lenders, and sponsored local groups.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced dealership management professional who is ready to step up and take ownership of a successful dealership. The ideal candidate will bring:
* Experience in a General Sales Manager role; with significant experience in a supervisory position.
* High levels of integrity and a strong commitment to compliance.
* Energetic, process-driven leadership style with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a diverse team.
* Highly developed knowledge of the automotive industry and dealership operations.
* Sound business knowledge, including financial management, planning, and resource allocation.
* Ability to interpret profit and loss statements and provide accurate reporting.
* A professional, approachable, and strategic mindset with outstanding decision-making skills.
* Excellent relationship-building, communication, and organisational skills.
* Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic .
