A boutique Family Office in Sydney is seeking a motivated and analytically minded Financial Advisor to join their team. This role is ideal for a candidate with 1–3 years' experience supporting high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and looking to grow their career in wealth management and family office operations. You will assist in managing investments, financial planning, and reporting while gaining exposure to multi-asset portfolios and sophisticated wealth structures.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in managing diversified investment portfolios, including equities, fixed income, private markets, and alternative assets.
* Support the preparation of investment analysis, research, and recommendations for senior advisors.
* Monitor portfolio performance and assist with regular reporting to family stakeholders.
* Support the development of financial plans and wealth strategies tailored to HNWI clients.
* Assist in implementing tax-efficient strategies in collaboration with external advisors.
* Help manage estate planning, succession planning, and intergenerational wealth transfer processes.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
* Build strong working relationships with family members, trustees, and external advisors.
* Coordinate and support due diligence on investment opportunities and third-party managers.
* Ensure smooth communication and reporting between internal teams and external partners.
Governance & Reporting
* Assist in preparing detailed financial reports, investment summaries, and portfolio performance updates.
* Support compliance with governance, risk management, and operational processes.
Skills & Experience
* 1–3 years' experience in wealth management, private banking, or family office environments.
* Experience supporting HNWIs or sophisticated clients is an additional plus
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
* Strong analytical, financial modelling, and reporting skills.
* Familiarity with Australian investment and regulatory frameworks is desirable.
