Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality individual or small-group tuition tailored to students' skill levels and aspirations in your area of expertise (Vocal).
* Support students in achieving individualised creative goals, which may include preparing for performances, examinations, ensemble participation, or other personalised artistic pursuits.
* Develop engaging lesson plans that promote technical skill, creative expression, and confidence.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and staff.
* Actively contribute to College arts events and co-curricular programs, collaborating with staff to build a vibrant performing arts culture.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
* Demonstrated proficiency in your discipline (Vocal).
* Experience teaching school-aged students.
* Strong knowledge of technique, theory, and repertoire relevant to your field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain one).
Desirable:
* Tertiary qualifications in Performing Arts, Music, or Education.
* Familiarity with relevant examination systems (e.g., AMEB, Trinity, RAD, etc.).
* Experience in school or educational settings.
