We are currently seeking an experienced manufacturing professional to support a high-profile tram project in Melbourne.
About the role:
This is a 3-month contract position requiring an individual with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring work meets strict quality standards in a regulated environment.
Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, performing visual inspections to identify defects or discrepancies, and completing detailed inspection reports for quality analysis.
To succeed in this role, you will require a tertiary degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field) and previous experience in rail, automotive, or manufacturing sectors.
Additional requirements include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to follow procedures and technical instructions, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
