Workforce Extensions are seeking a number of reliable and quality workers for a timber processing facility based in Beaufort Victoria.
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join the team as Truss Labourers. As a vital part of the production process, you will be responsible for assisting in the assembly of trusses used in construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the setup and operation of machinery used in truss fabrication.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
- Using an array of hand and power tools to assemble trusses.
- Inspect finished trusses for quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a construction or manufacturing environment preferred but **experience is not required**.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn and follow strict safety procedures.
