As a Land Administration Officer within the State Valuation Service, you'll support the delivery of Queensland's statutory land valuations by carrying out a broad range of administrative, data and customer-service tasks.
Working from one of our key centres across the state, you'll help maintain the accuracy of valuation records, assist valuers with essential information, and contribute to smooth, consistent service delivery across the valuation lifecycle.
Your day will involve maintaining and updating land and property information in departmental systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with the Act, policies and procedures.
You'll respond to enquiries from landowners and stakeholders, assist with valuation grievance processing and prioritise tasks effectively by coordinating your workload activities by monitoring progress and meeting deadlines to support team objectives.
The role relies heavily on mapping tools, valuation systems and internal databases, so attention to detail, accuracy and strong organisation are essential.
As part of a supportive team, you'll work closely with valuers, senior officers and other administrative staff to deliver reliable and efficient services.
You'll follow established procedures, maintain accurate electronic records and contribute to process improvements where you see opportunities.
You'll also support the preparation of general communications, letters and reports relating to valuation activities and customer enquiries.
