Expert in Master Data Governance
Are you an expert in master data governance with a passion for accuracy and precision? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a specialist in setting recognised materials standards. You will be working with a vast amount of master data, 31,000 lines strong, which is expected to grow significantly over the next two years.
As a specialist in master data governance, your key responsibilities will include:
* Cataloguing mining materials into SAP and managing master data related to materials, vendors, and projects/maintenance.
* Setting up robust master data structures, ensuring data is clean, accurate, and free of duplicates, and capturing new requirements in line with coding standards.
* Investigating and resolving SAP data issues, identifying root causes, and implementing fixes; supporting the Superintendent Materials & Services with additional projects to improve operational efficiency in sharing supplies.
Requirements
* Mastery of Master Data Record Management (MDRM) skills for accurate coding and data integrity, with a sharp eye for detail in mining plant spare parts.
* Experience building material and service master records in mining; strong communication skills, written and verbal, across teams.
* Hands-on experience with SAP; understanding of supply chains and end-to-end materials management.
* Proficiency in Excel (beginner to intermediate) with data analysis capabilities; familiarity with Repairable/Rotable processes and component lifecycles is a plus.
