About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified and experienced industry professional to become part of our Allied Health teaching team on a fixed term part time basis. The role involves teaching students in Allied Health qualification. Your responsibilities will includeoffering support and guidance to students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for a successful career in the Allied Health sector. The primary responsibility of a teacher involves delivering high quality training and assessment, creating educational resources, and handling administrative tasks associated with course delivery including assessment marking.
About you
You possess the necessary industry experience and skills to effectively mentor and train students to the high standard required, in order for them to meet the demands of industry. You are enthusiastic and motivated with a confident and proactive approach to education. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working with others. You have sound ICT skills, a knowledge of training packages and an understanding of compliance and quality requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified Allied Health Professional or minimum Certificate IV in Allied Health
* Minimum 3 years industry experience in Allied health.
* Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
o Note: Whilst it is a mandatory requirement for all teaching staff to possess this qualification, it is not a prerequisite to apply for this role. Support will be provided to the successful applicant upon commencement of employment, including financial sponsorship to complete the qualification, a paid workday per week to attend any classroom-based TAFE Gippsland course and the provision of a mentor to assist your transition from Industry to Teaching.
