About the role
In this pivotal role as a Clinical Nurse Educator you will design, deliver, and evaluate innovative educational programs that shape the future of neonatal nursing. You will guide new staff as they begin their NICU journey, while also fostering the ongoing professional development of experienced clinicians. Your expertise will directly support the delivery of clinical best practice, elevate patient and family experiences, and contribute to improved outcomes for our most vulnerable patients. You will receive comprehensive orientation and tailored education to ensure your success in this specialised role, with the full support of the NICU Nurse Educator and the Manager of Newborn Services.

Responsibilities
* Design, deliver, and evaluate neonatal educational programs.
* Guide and mentor staff during NICU onboarding and ongoing professional development.
* Support evidence-based clinical practice and contribute to service improvements.
* Collaborate with the NICU team to promote family-centred care and positive patient outcomes.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration and relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications or equivalent experience.
* Post-graduate qualification in education or willingness to work towards one.
Qualifications and attributes
* Extensive experience in neonatal nursing with understanding of NICU operations and patient care complexities.
* Strong leadership, empathy, resilience, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of adult learning principles and teaching ability.

* Salary: $55.32 - $55.11 Per Hour + 12% Super + Salary Packaging
