All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare.The successful applicant will hold a staff specialist neonatologist position within NSCCC, a state-wide tertiary service based at the RHH for critically ill neonates and children. The NPICU and Special Care Nursery (SCN) has a combined total of 28 beds (8 NICU, 4 PICU/NICU, 16 SCN). NSCCC also has overarching responsibility for the provision of newborn and paediatric emergency transport (NETS/PETS) for the state of Tasmania.This is an exciting opportunity for a Staff Specialist Neonatologist, based at the RHH, who will provide tertiary level care for neonates and their families, as well as provide cross-support for paediatric intensivists in the care of critically ill children in our combined NPICU.
