Skilled Resources Group provides a responsive and reliable labour hire and staffing service to employers and candidates working in Australia's fast-paced and dynamic Mining, Hospitality, Resources, Construction and Engineering sectors.
We are seeking a
Payroll/Accounts Officer
to join our successful team on a full-time basis starting in January.
The Role:
Reporting to General Manager & Team Leaders who will provide ongoing support, you will be responsible for weekly end-to-end payroll which is processed weekly each Wednesday.
Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll end-to-end using our payroll system.
Enter, validate and reconcile timesheets across multiple sites and roster pattern.
Interpret and apply awards, allowances, overtime, penalties, site rates and travel requirements.
Liaise with candidates, clients and management regarding all payroll related enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Identify and recommend continuous system and process improvements.
Weekly invoicing and back charges and assist with other EOM duties.
Creating pay/bill agreements, rate templates and ensuring everything back of house is compliant.
About you:
You are committed to a long term role.
Minimum 2 years experience in a Payroll Officer role – Labour hire/recruitment is an advantage.
Must have an understanding of penalty rate structures, allowances, bonus, travel etc.
You must be able to work in an ever-changing environment and stick to payroll deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
Experience in FastTrack360 – desirable.
Experience in Recruitment/Labourhire/Mining/Construction – desirable.
