Glenelg Shire Council runs six services across the Shire, including Katheleen Millikan Centre (Casterton), Karreeta Peeneeyt Mara Portland Child and Family Complex, Heywood Kindergarten, Dartmoor Children's Services, Kalbarri Kindergarten, and Jaycee Kindergarten.

What you need to Succeed
A genuine understanding of and a desire to work with children aged 8 weeks through to kindergarten age.
A positive outlook and team approach.
Effective communication skills.
Cert III, Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (working toward Cert III may be considered).
Current First Aid qualification HLTAID012.
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
Some experience working with children and families.
Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with all staff.
Ability to manage risks and identify health and safety issues pertaining to the workplace.
