The Role
Wathaurong's Aboriginal Homes First Program provides long-term intensive case management and service coordination with low individual caseloads to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community members within the Barwon Region who are currently rough sleeping and/or experiencing chronic homelessness.
Working under the Housing First principles and framework, the role aims to ensure that the service provided is culturally appropriate, safe, supportive and effective in achieving community members' goals along with the broader program outcomes in accordance with Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperatives values and legislative and funding requirements.
