Working with us will be more than just a job; we guarantee a life-changing experience as you step into an environment that moves quickly and presents new challenges daily.Your role within the teamWe are looking for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate who will support the delivery of the regulatory strategy of the Pet Nutrition and Care business pillar, ensuring compliance across the product portfolio in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
This is a dynamic and varied role acting as regulatory lead at a project level, owning multiple tasks to ensure regulatory compliance of pet supplements.
The role supports the development, implementation, management and improvement of regulatory systems and risk management protocols to achieve overall regulatory compliance over the entire product lifecycle, including advertising and export requirements for the ANZ and Asia region.Key responsibilities include:Support new product development for Pet Nutrition in ANZ Asia regionLead overall regulatory compliance of Pet food and supplement products in ANZ Asia, including, but not limited to:Develop and maintain product dossiers (i.e. tables of evidence, claims validation, safety assessments, product specifications, etc.)Complete, assess and maintain accurate APVMA END product assessmentsConduct regulatory reviews of product formulations for compliance against various domestic and international regulations, relevant codes of practice and market requirementsApprove product labelling for regulatory compliance and maintain relevant recordsAdminister advertising pre-vetting and approvals including reviewing of promotional material for regulatory and technical complianceContribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of regulatory SOPs, procedures and data management to ensure due diligence and sponsor obligations are met.Ascertain import and export requirements for products entering various markets across ANZ AsiaWork cross functionally, providing lead technical and regulatory advice across internal teams, including but not limited to Customer Service, Quality, NPD, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Digital and Marketing teamsSupport business initiatives related to relevant government bodies / agencies, such as the APVMA, DAFF, MPI etc. and act as key regulatory contactSupport product related complaints issued by regulatory bodiesSupport the QPPVA in managing safety-related reports, internal processing and analysis and any mandatory reporting, as requiredKeep up to date with domestic and international regulatory considerations and changesLead regulatory team projects as Project ManagerSupport team metric reportingSupport cross functional team learning as requiredDesired Skills & ExperienceWe look for people who have what it takes to make an impact; who can challenge us to go further while pushing themselves to deliver exciting & ambitious results.To make sure we're setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:More than 5 years of regulatory affairs experience with pet nutrition, and/or complementary medicines, foods, cosmetics, baby nutrition.
International regulatory experience is considered an advantage.Tertiary qualifications in veterinary, medical, health, or life sciences.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a regulated consumer health category with ability to navigate various and complex regulations, such as a pet nutrition under APVMA, human therapeutic goods under TGA and/or non-therapeutic products (foods, skincare and infant nutrition).
Experience with APVMA Excluded Nutritional or Digestive (END) products and/or the regulatory requirements for exporting pet/meat products from Australia is desirableHas a commercial focus and understanding relating to regulatory decisionsHas an investigative mindset and is comfortable providing direction in areas of ambiguityProven ability to thrive in fast-paced commercial environments while managing multiple projects with competing timelines.Demonstrated ability to assess risk and provide risk based regulatory advice to the businessExperience liaising with government bodiesAppreciates legal issues relating to product marketing and advertisingH&H Group believes in the benefits of a diverse & inclusive workplace & aims to reflect the varied cultures within which we exist.
