Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Melbourne, VIC, for a 3D Printing Technician. The technician will be responsible for setting up and operating 3D printers, maintaining and troubleshooting printing equipment, ensuring print quality, and preparing prototypes and products for delivery. The role also includes reviewing design files, providing feedback for manufacturability, managing inventory of printing materials, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in operating and maintaining various 3D printers and related technologies
* Understanding of 3D modeling software and the ability to work with design files
* Technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail for troubleshooting printer issues
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in 3D printing
* Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
* Experience in quality control and adhering to established safety protocols
* Strong organizational skills to manage projects, timelines, and material inventory
* Prior experience in additive manufacturing or 3D design is a plus
