About The Opportunity
Liverpool Hospital is excited to announce an opening for an Oncology System Administrator to join our dedicated Cancer Services Information Management and Technology team.
In This Pivotal Role, You Will
* Enhance cancer and palliative care services by collaborating across teams to improve the Oncology Information system, streamline workflows, and meet reporting requirements. This dynamic position fosters problem-solving skills and innovative solutions for better user and patient outcomes.
* Administer and support the Oncology Information System, maintain policy documentation, supervise the palliative care data analyst, and make operational decisions. You will also coordinate and deliver staff training, support service desk calls, and escalate critical issues.
* Assist with system implementations and enhancements, manage data reporting using tools like Crystal Reports and SQL, and support audits and mandatory reporting.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in Cancer and Palliative Care Services and liaise with SWSLHD ICT teams, staff, vendors, and health information stakeholders.
* Work across multiple departments within South West Sydney Local Health District, coordinate and deliver training sessions, and be available after-hours for system upgrades or major implementations.

What You'll Be Doing
The Oncology System Administrator works within the Cancer Services Information Management and Technology team to implement and support the requirements for MOSAIQ (Oncology Information System) and other systems, to enhance work practices and support the delivery of day-to-day best practice care to SWSLHD cancer patients.

Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, offering a wide range of state-wide services including critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care, and brain injury rehabilitation. As a key teaching facility for UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University, it provides extensive clinical services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health services. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and has a capacity for 877 beds.
The ongoing $830 million redevelopment as part of the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct is transforming the hospital into a global hub for medical innovation. This redevelopment will expand clinical services, enhance research and teaching facilities, and introduce state-of-the-art equipment and amenities.

* Relevant qualifications or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
* Must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
* Demonstrated experience working in an Oncology department or other health specialty with an understanding of workflows in an outpatient setting.
* Demonstrated experience in application management and support of an Oncology Information System (Mosaiq or Aria) or other electronic medical record.
* Describe your experience communicating effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including your written communication skills, documenting procedures, and delivering staff training, in-service programs, or other instructional activities.
* Demonstrated skills in data management including consultation with end users, data extraction, quality assurance, analysis and report development.
