The Position:
Reporting to the CEO and forming part of a four-person Executive Leadership Team, the CFO is Parkerville's senior financial leader and operational backbone. The role carries broad enterprise accountability across Finance and Assets (including ICT), People and Culture, and commercial fee-for-service activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading a diverse team, instilling a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence.
Delivering strong financial stewardship, planning and forecasting.
Providing high-level financial and strategic advice to the CEO and Board.
Overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, compliance, audit, cash flow management and risk frameworks.
Driving operational efficiency through systems improvement and technology integration.
Developing and implementing a Finance and Investment Strategy aligned to long-term resilience.
Supporting the successful financial and operational establishment of new services.
Strengthening commercial discipline across fee-for-service activities and identifying income diversification opportunities.
Ensuring property, assets, ICT and workforce systems are integrated and aligned to service delivery needs.
This is a broad, enterprise-level role requiring both financial excellence and integrated operational leadership.
About You:
A values based leader and finance professional (CA/CPA or equivalent), who is commercially astute and strategically minded, you will bring the capability to operate within a complex, multi-service organisation. Additionally, you will possess:
Significant senior financial leadership experience within a complex environment.
Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, planning, compliance and risk management.
Experience leading operational functions beyond finance (e.g. ICT, assets or HR), with measurable efficiency improvements.
Commercial acumen, including P&L accountability and experience driving sustainable growth.
Proven experience working closely with Boards and Board subcommittees.
Collaborative, pragmatic and decisive, with an enterprise mindset and the ability to balance operational demands with long-term sustainability.
Experience within community services, education, health, or purpose-driven environments will be well regarded.
