Senior Biostatistics Researcher in Bayesian Clinical Trials
The University of Sydney is seeking a Senior Lecturer (Level C) or Associate Professor (Level D) in Biostatistics to join the Health and Clinical Analytics team. The successful candidate will collaborate on existing studies and contribute to the development of methodological frameworks for clinical research.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in an academic field relevant to biostatistics, a developing research profile, and experience with statistical software including R, Stan, and/or JAGS. Excellent communication skills and the ability to supervise or mentor others are also required.
Main Responsibilities and Qualifications:
* Bayesian Statistical Methods Development: Design and analyze clinical research using Bayesian statistics.
* Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams comprising clinicians, statisticians, data scientists, and informaticians.
* Research Profile and Network Building: Establish a research profile and build relationships with academic, consumer/advocacy, industry, and professional organizations.
