Are you passionate about working with young people and making a difference in your community? The City of Karratha is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Casual Community Services Assistants to support our Youth Services team
About the Role:
You'll be part of an exciting and dynamic team delivering programs and activities that engage and empower young people at The Youth Shed (Karratha) and The Base (Wickham).
You'll help create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where young people can participate in recreational, educational, and social programs. Whether you're supporting events, assisting with daily operations, or interacting with young community members, every shift will be rewarding and impactful
What We're Looking For:
* A passion for working with young people, particularly those from diverse backgrounds, including Indigenous communities.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills to create positive connections with youth and colleagues.
* Ability to support, supervise, and engage young people in a safe and inclusive environment.
* Previous experience in youth services or community engagement is highly desirable.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Bonus if You Have:
* A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Provide First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Experience facilitating youth programs or community initiatives.
