Position Overview
We are currently seeking an AHPRA Registered or Provisional Psychologist to join our dynamic team on a contractor or employment contract basis. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid work, with options for Telehealth sessions or in-person consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting mental health assessments and formulating treatment plans.
* Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
* Building strong, person-centred therapeutic relationships with clients.
* Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
* Preparation of specialist reports as required.
* Liaise with community service organisations and other professionals regarding the support needs of the client.
Qualifications and Experience:
* AHPRA registration
* Strong skills in cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness practices, and other evidence-based interventions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
* The ability to work across the lifespan is desired.
* Eligible for or have a Working with Children Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Able to work autonomously and confident in managing own caseload.
* Able to adapt therapeutic approach into an online delivery format.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of psychology experience required.
* Australian citizenship is required for this position.
