Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a High Reach Forklift Operator located in Wacol, QLD. The High Reach Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating high reach forklifts to move goods and materials within the warehouse. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading trucks, stocking shelves, picking orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the protected and efficient operation of the forklift. The role also involves conducting regular equipment checks and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications Experience in operating high reach forklifts and forklift certificationKnowledge of warehouse operations and inventory managementAbility to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving heavy itemsAttention to detail and accuracy in carrying out tasksStrong communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamAdherence to safety procedures and protocolsExperience in the rural retail industry is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent
