The Sales Associate role is designed to fulfil multiple roles within an agency, but also provide sales applicants, not quite ready for sales but with great long term potential, a clear pathway into a genuine real estate sales career. The role and the respective tasks for each can be broken up as follows:
Prospecting Responsibilities
* Prospect for Sellers – use prospecting sources as per Winning Ways
* Build and develop their own Personal Marketplace (PMP)
Support Responsibilities
* Arrange, attend and report on post contract inspections (i.e. Building Inspections, Bank Valuations, Pre-settlement inspections)
* Attend property inspections
* Make appointments for Sales team
* Assist Sellers to showcase their properties by helping them source services and tradespeople
* Erect and install For Sale/Under Contract/Sold signs
* Deliver pre-pamp materials
* Assist with production and dissemination of marketing materials – flyer deliveries
* Attend photo appointments
* Shopping for office supplies, collecting stationery orders & mail
* Prepare and distribute gift packs/platters/Gingerbreads to new buyers
* Input data into the CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
* Efficiently attend to any other administrative tasks as directed
* Constantly study how to improve knowledge, skills and attitude and then apply what has been learnt
