What you'll contribute to
The Head of Settlements & Fulfilment will be based at our clients flagship hybrid agile Operations Centre in Scoresby, Melbourne.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an influential operational leader to lead the strategy, leadership and management of the Settlements & Fulfilment function, overseeing the retail and fleet settlements, retail pre-verification, originations support teams and retail and fleet PPSR. This teams focus is to deliver exceptional and efficient service to our retail and fleet customers by supporting the Dealer Distribution and Direct Distribution departments.
This role is influential in working with the Head of Lending to establish the strategic business direction for retail and fleet Lending and the required operating rhythm to enable customer solutions for originations.
You will be accountable for the development and implementation of strategy in regards to systems, processes and people necessary to deliver and support an industry leading Lending service together with creating ongoing efficiencies to drive value for the business.
Through voice and written channels, this role oversees the end-to-end originations-related activities ensuring that our focus is around delivering quality service in every interaction. As an integral part of the leadership team in Originations, you will lead the team for performance, develop capability and coach for success. You will be responsible for delivering superior management and guidance to a team of people leaders and experts ensuring business outcomes such as SLAs and the department Balanced Scorecard and brief initiatives are achieved.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the department operates within the approved company and divisional polices and procedures, that these are up to date and accurate, and within the business risk appetite.
Additionally, you will work collaboratively with other Operations Heads of Department to successfully lead strategic planning discussions which enable the Operations division to minimise losses, improve recoveries and reduce cost to serve.
Required Skills:
* Minimum 7 years' accumulative experience in Operations Management, overseeing large, fast paced teams.
* Experience in call centre, back office or front of house administrative teams
* Understanding of retail lending requirements, credit risk policies and compliance requirements.
* Strong influencing and communication skills, written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to develop effective and trusted relationships across all levels of the business, internal and external.
* Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
