**Our Client**:
We are recruiting on behalf of a mechanical software business that offers a simple to use and fully featured mechanical Workshop Software in Australia.

Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive responsible for reaching out to prospective customers
- understanding their existing business operations challenges and demonstrating how our client's software can remove the agreed challenges.

**Job Summary**:
The role is mainly phone based but they could do face-to-face as they grow out. There is opportunity for this person to step up in a more senior role or lead role, managing a team as they continue to expand.

The role can be 100% remote working in Australia.

**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Management**
- Set clear expectations
- Meet service expectations
- Generate and share audit trail of all customer communications in accordance with internal processes

**Account Management**
- Nurture new and existing customer relationships
- Manage the Customer Retention and Conversion process:

- Customer engagement
- Customer Satisfaction

**Sales**
- Identify new opportunities for revenue growth in new markets and new customers
- Identify new opportunities for revenue growth from Existing customers
- upsell subscription level
- Increase number of licenses
- Perform outbound phone calls to new trial signups
- Respond to trial user queries
- Perform demonstrations to prospective customers highlighting how our solution can address their business challenges
- Value Added Services
- Market our solution capabilities

**Project Management**
- Contribute to management approved projects (as required)

**Knowledge Transfer**
- Maintain internal process documentation
- Communicate changes to system and product (internal and external)
- Active engagement in weekly team meetings and scheduled Hour of Power

**Process Adherence / Improvement**
- Adhere to internal processes
- Identify opportunities for system / process improvement

**Reporting**
- Timely sharing of weekly and monthly reporting highlighting success / opportunities resulting from introduced changes (process and/or product)

**Personal Development**
- Undertake training to develop personal skills
- Act on constructive criticism

**Job Qualifications**:

- At least 2 years of Business Development/Telesales experience.
- Ideally someone who has sold subscriptions as a service.
- Experience in automotive and/or subscription-as-a-service industry.
