Position: French Immersion Teacher – Grade 1 (FTE 1.0) Effective: Immediately – Open-ended
Required Qualifications
* French qualifications (FSL – Part 1, Part 2, or other French qualifications recorded on the Ontario College of Teachers Certificate (OCT))
* High degree of oral and written proficiency in the French language
* Primary and/or Junior and/or Intermediate Division qualifications
Desired Qualifications
* Experience teaching in the Primary and/or Junior and/or Intermediate Division
* Training in the Accelerated Integrated Method (AIM/Gestures)
* FSL – Part 2 or Specialist qualification
* Knowledge of Balance Literacy and Numeracy practices in the Primary and/or Junior and/or Intermediate Division
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Willingness to share a Junior or Intermediate classroom
