We are looking for a Mid-Level Game Artist to join our Graphics Development team on a full-time basis, located at our head office in Newington (Sydney, NSW) .
Position Summary:
The Mid-Level Game Artist reports to the Graphics Development Manager and will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-quality, visually engaging art assets for our casino games. This position requires a creative professional with strong technical ability, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite to deliver compelling visuals that elevate the player experience.
The successful candidate will bring 3–5 years of industry experience and a passion for producing outstanding 2D artwork in a fast-paced gaming environment.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with senior artists in the Art Department on the design and development of art assets for both existing and new slot games.
Create a wide range of 2D assets, including game logos, brand elements, layouts, symbols, and UI components, ensuring alignment with established art styles.
Use Adobe After Effects to produce visual effects and animations for in-game elements.
Iterate on artwork based on team and stakeholder feedback to refine and enhance the visual experience.
Work across multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high artistic standards.
Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually develop your skills.
Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a game artist in the casino gaming industry or a similar field.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in art, design, animation, or a related discipline.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
Excellent artistic skills with a focus on high-quality 2D design including logos, layouts, symbols, and branding.
Solid understanding of colour theory, composition, perspective, and technical constraints of game development.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and visual creativity.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback effectively.
In addition, we seek candidates who possess:
Experience working within the casino gaming sector or similar fast-paced digital art environment.
Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining artistic integrity.
