**About this role**:
This is a unique opportunity to join the commercial sales team at one of Australia's largest retailers of high-end contemporary furniture. Existing relationships and strong network across the A&D community will be highly regarded. You must have strong sales and demonstrated experience working towards and exceeding sales targets.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop account sales strategy in line with the National sales plan
- Implement strategies to develop client relationships that convert and grow revenue within new & existing client base
- Schedule and attend client engagement initiatives in the showroom and client studios
- Attend key client onsite deliveries and installations as required
- Generate new business opportunities
- Seek out and develop new project leads and industry contacts
- Attend Industry/networking events
- Engage A&D Studios
- Effectively read and interpret architectural plans, drawings and schemes to create project briefs/presentations for clients
- Oversee all touch points of the sales process from quotation to delivery
- Ensure client expectations are managed and all order updates/delays are communicated to clients (ie production delays, shipping delays, delivery delays)
- Utilise Business Central as your source of truth and ensure Quotations, Sales Orders and Invoices are input and updated accordingly
- Deliver and be accountable for an up-to-date weekly sales leads prospect report to ensure accurate reporting within the business
**Skills and Experience**
- Interior Design tertiary qualification
- Demonstrated high-end customer service or sales experience relevant to the residential interior design market
- Ability to read and work with interior documentation, including drawing layouts professionally
- Exceptional understanding of spatial planning, color, and fabric
- High-level knowledge of Microsoft Office
