The Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) is a Commonwealth Government financier, providing financial support to advance the development of infrastructure projects in northern Australia.
We help grow economies and populations and encourage private sector investment across a range of sectors including resources, agriculture and water, energy, financing partnerships, social infrastructure, and transport and logistics.
We support projects that deliver public benefit to the north, through new jobs, regional income, business for local suppliers and Indigenous outcomes across northern Australia.
NAIF has a $7 billion allocation and has committed over $4.3 billion to support 32 projects in Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia.
About the Role
The Senior Associate, Project Management (IT) will coordinate multiple concurrent projects under NAIF's digital transformation program, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The position also contributes to broader digital transformation by strengthening internal capability, supporting scalable technology adoption and enabling secure and user-focused ICT services. This is a 12 month fixed-term position.
Key Accountabilities
The function of this role is to support the Director, Information Technology to:
* Lead and coordinate digital transformation initiatives across enterprise platforms and services.
* Collaborate with internal teams, executives and external partners ensuring alignment.
* Oversee vendor selection, onboarding, performance and compliance throughout the transformation lifecycle.
* Ensure projects meet enterprise standards for security, compliance and operational resilience.
* Support organisational change through structured communication, training and adoption strategies.
Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will have a minimum three years' experience managing digital transformation projects in cloud-based environments including:
* Proven experience in procurement, vendor management and contract oversight
* Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, and Planner.
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services including Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform.
* Proven ability to communicate across different audiences
* Relevant project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP)
