The Opportunity
This role will drive the review and enhancement of the Agencies systems for the access, management and review of legal and corporate templates. This process supports a broader objective to provide high-quality prosecution services to support the justice system in protecting the community, including investing in better Knowledge Management to support staff access relevant and reliable resources for prosecution and other work activities.

The Role
The Templates Co-ordinator is required to drive and deliver a focused review of Microsoft Word templates, working with the legal practice, the Legal Capability and Performance practice group (LCP) and Enabling Services Group (ESG) to produce current, consistent and high-quality templates that comply with the Agency's Writing Style Guide and/or legislative requirements.
* Advise on best practice for legal and other template development and maintenance within the current framework
* Lead the consultation and collaboration with template owners and other lawyers to deliver accurate, high quality national and local templates
* Provide leadership of a multidisciplinary working group
* Develop and maintain project documentation to effectively monitor and track progress and enable reporting
* Review and update identified priority templates by; applying consistent styles and formatting, updating embedded macros using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for Office and updating references to law, procedure and practice
The Ideal Person
You will have strong problem solving and decision making, as well as sound administration skills and an eye for detail. You will be able to successfully priories and manage large volume and competing workloads, maintaining a high level of resilience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In addition, you will have the following:
* Deep expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, especially using MS styles, templates, macros and content controls
* Demonstrated proficiency in VBA, with an ability to maintain, debug and optimise existing VBA code
* A strong understanding of the creation and editing of custom UI XML files and management of XML schemas
* Ability to consistently and rigorously apply a style guide or similar conventions in the creation or modification of templates and an eye for detail
* Ability to lead engagement with internal stakeholders including lawyers, IT and Communications specialists
* Strong leadership, project management and decision making
* Familiarity with legal templates and/or criminal legal procedure is highly desirable but not essential
You must have a current Baseline Security Clearance and be an Australian Citizen to be considered.
Salary / Rate
* $94k - $105k + 15.4% Super
* 6-month contract with extension options
* Incredibly flexible workplace with WFH options
