We’re on the lookout for a passionate, hands-on People & Culture Partner who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and lead our people initiatives from the ground up. Reporting directly to our CEO, you’ll work closely with our leadership team to ensure our people practices are consistent, compliant, and aligned to our culture and goals. From payroll and onboarding to learning, development and performance—you’ll play a key part in keeping our people experience strong and effective. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include: Owning the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing across our network. Supporting our leaders across stores and Support Office with advice on performance, engagement, and compliance. Rolling out learning and development initiatives that build capability and drive growth. Managing onboarding, offboarding, and team lifecycle events with a strong focus on compliance and consistency. Driving cultural initiatives that make Barbeques Galore a great place to work—every single day. Partnering with the leadership team on national people strategies and key projects. Helping shape and embed policies, procedures, and systems that support team success. What We’re Looking For: A people-first mindset with proven experience in an HR generalist, business partner, or standalone P&C role. Strong understanding of Australian employment law, modern awards, and payroll processes. Experience rolling out L&D initiatives, managing compliance requirements, and supporting leaders through the full team member lifecycle. Confidence in coaching and influencing stakeholders at all levels—especially in retail or multi-site environments. What’s in it for You?
