We're looking for a skilled and analytical
Data Scientist
to turn data into actionable insights and predictive models. In this role, you'll work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to solve complex problems and drive data-driven decision-making in a remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights
* Build predictive and machine learning models to support business objectives
* Develop and maintain data pipelines and feature engineering workflows
* Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams
* Visualise and communicate data findings to stakeholders
* Evaluate model performance and optimise algorithms
* Participate in data cleaning, transformation, and data quality initiatives
* Document methodologies, models, and analysis results
Requirements
* 2–5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role
* Strong proficiency in
Python
,
R
, or similar programming languages
* Experience with machine learning frameworks (
scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
)
* Strong skills in SQL and data manipulation
* Experience with data visualisation tools (
Tableau, Power BI, Looker
)
* Understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and data mining
* Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
* Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
* Fluent in English
* Based in Australia with full legal right to work
