What you will bring to the role
* Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qual, or such other qual or equivalent experience deemed appropriate: a) RN (Division 1) with AHPRA with either relevant post-registration quals in Mental Health, Leadership or working towards attainment or demonstrated experience in a leadership role. b) OT registered with AHPRA c) SW eligible for membership to AASW d) Snr Psychologist - Psych registered with AHPRA & have completed a minimum of 1 yr full time equivalent at the 9th year of service for a psych e) Clinical Psychologist Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with full AHPRA registration as Psychologist
* Demonstrated expert level skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with serious mental illness
* Demonstrated management experience and/or proven ability to provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team including skills and experience in clinical service management and quality improvement programs.
* Demonstrated ability to lead change within the workplace, balance competing demands and motivate staff.
* Demonstrated knowledge of, and commitment to, a recovery focused model of care, incorporating consumer and carer consultation within the mental health service
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
* Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary community mental health service issues.
* Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
