We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our on-site cafe. This is a unique opportunity to work in a remote setting, utilizing your exceptional leadership skills to manage a team of staff and provide high-quality service to our clients.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily cafe operations to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.
* Supervise, train, and support a team of line chefs and utility/ bar attendants to achieve business objectives.
* Coordinate with clients to understand and meet their catering needs.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
* Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and service areas.
* Uphold presentation standards.
* Handle customer feedback and resolve service-related issues efficiently.
* Collaborate with management to achieve financial and operational goals.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or catering industry.
* Proven ability to lead a team and achieve business objectives.
* Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in using Point of Sale systems for order management, sales tracking, and reporting.
* Valid police check and RSA Certificate required.
* Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry is preferred.
