Job Overview
ALC's main processing facility is located in Southwestern Victoria. We are currently hiring 30 Meat Process Workers to work on-site at 1 Tristania Drive, Colac VIC 3250. Positions are immediately available for both morning (5:00am start) and afternoon (2:45pm start) shifts; rotating of shifts is not required.
Responsibilities
* Trim, cut and slice lamb carcasses.
* Separate and sort organs and meat.
* Operate equipment and machinery.
* Clean and sterilise work areas.
* Move carcasses.
* Perform general labour throughout chillers, boning room and slaughter floor.
* Learn and adopt new processes; experience welcome but not required.
Qualifications
* Fit, healthy and able to work in a physically challenging role.
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced and repetitive workplace.
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
* Reliable and committed to producing quality products.
* Ability to follow and comply with instructions.
* Must have work rights to work in Australia.
* Willing to relocate to the Colac region or live within a reasonable commute.
Job Details
Job Types: Full time, Casual, Permanent
Schedule: 8‐hour shift, Monday to Friday, morning and afternoon shifts.
Pay: $24.10 – $40.00 per hour (value depends on skill level, EA Level 1 – Level 5). Overtime and penalty rates available.
