Your Role
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will take ownership of a diverse client fee base, working with Directors and acting as a key point of contact for clients. You will play a pivotal role in reviewing and delivering a variety of management accounting and compliance tasks, identifying value-add opportunities, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality services by the team.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
* Managing a client portfolio through building great relationships and connections.
* Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for client matters.
* Reviewing account reconciliations, management reports, payrolls, BAS/IAS and more
* Delegating effectively to junior and intermediate team members, providing training, support and constructive feedback.
* Participating in and running client meetings alongside Directors.
* Proactively monitoring deadlines, WIP, billing, and ensuring timely completion of work.
* Identifying opportunities to expand services for existing clients
* Actively contributing to divisional projects, strategy, and business improvement initiatives.

About You
You are an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic advisory environment and enjoys building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. You bring a balance of technical knowledge, commercial insight, and the ability to guide others.
* An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
* 3-5 years' experience in a similar role (Business Services/Advisory & Audit background with some advisory aligned exposure)
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
* A commitment to high-quality work, continuous improvement, and mentoring others
* Proficiency in Xero, and Microsoft Office
* CA/CPA qualification desirable
* Exposure to software including Employment Hero, QuickBooks, MYOB, Castaway/other forecasting tools, Spotlight/Fathom desirable but not essential
