We're seeking for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join a cooperative finance team on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2026. This role offers the chance to make an immediate impact, with a thorough handover and ongoing support to set you up for success.

- Hybrid 4 days, 1 day in the office
- $100 -$110k + super

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support month-end close including journals, reconciliations, reporting, and meeting tight deadlines
- Assist with year-end financial reporting and liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process
- Prepare and review quarterly BAS, annual FBT returns, and statutory tax obligations
- Support intercompany recharges and levy billing processes with strong attention to detail
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports across P&L;, balance sheet, and cashflow for multiple entities
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations across corporate and operating entities
- Provide back-up support for payroll reconciliation, journals, PAYG submissions, and payroll processing when required
- Manage credit card journals and reconciliations as needed
- Partner with the FP&A; team on journal queries and provide accurate, timely financial data
About You
- CPA or CA qualified
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Experience in a hands-on accounting role
- TechOne knowledge highly regarded, but not essential
