Join a growing organisation working on a critical Western Australian infrastructure project. As an Asset Inspector, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, assessment, and reporting of overhead and underground power assets, as well as surrounding vegetation. This will be a drive in drive out role, working 10 days on and 4 days off. This is a dynamic, hands-on field-based role offering both variety and long-term career prospects in the energy and utilities sector. What you’ll be doing: Inspecting powerlines, power poles, and associated electrical infrastructure Identifying and reporting defects on assets and vegetation encroachments Conducting vegetation assessments and issuing notices to landowners Planning and scoping for maintenance and upgrade works Hands-on tasks such as replacing wires, repairing earths, and installing pole reinforcements Entering data accurately via Western Power systems (iPad) What you’ll need: Cert II or III in ESI – Asset Inspection (preferable) White Card Valid C-Class Driver’s License or higher Basic computer literacy (Excel, Outlook, data entry on iPad) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and landowners Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required What’s in it for you: $250 per night live-away allowance (when required) Enjoy the freedom of more independent work!
