Water Resources Modeller
The Water Resources Modeller will contribute to the development and management of water resources in the Murray-Darling Basin, working closely with the Hydrological Analysis Branch to create and program models for hydrological and hydraulic modelling.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hydrological Modelling: Perform technical analysis and modelling to support the implementation of the Basin Plan and Water Sharing Plan accreditation.
2. Technical Studies: Collaborate with the team to assess the impacts of policy options and river system operations on various water users.
3. Software Development: Support the development of software to modify and improve modelling of river systems in the Murray Darling Basin.
4. Reporting and Communication: Draft reports, technical manuals, and present results and analysis to a range of audiences.
