We're on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator to join our team full-time. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our growth, helping us deliver accurate and competitive quotes across a wide range of projects — from everyday service work to major commercial jobs up to $10 million.
Our core focus is on office fit-outs and hospitality projects, but we also take on a wide variety of commercial work.
What You'll Be Doing
* Communicating directly with clients and attending site meetings or inspections
* Preparing detailed estimates and tenders
* Reviewing project plans, specifications, and documents to determine material, labour, and subcontractor needs
* Working closely with the project team to clarify scope, resolve any uncertainties, and ensure the accuracy of estimates
* Identifying risks, opportunities to save costs, and value-engineering options to strengthen bids
* Responding promptly to tender queries and keeping communication clear throughout the process
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as an electrician in the construction industry
* Excellent attention to detail and a proven track record of producing accurate, competitive quotes
* Solid understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation practices
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong analytical and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed, itemised cost estimates aligned with our pricing and margin goals
* Keep supplier pricing, historical job data, and cost benchmarks up to date
* Work effectively within a collaborative team environment
