EXECUTIVE CARE MANAGER

BlueWave Living is seeking an exceptional Executive Care Manager to lead our clinical and care services and drive excellence for the 144 residents who call our community home.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Care Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of clinical care, clinical governance, quality, compliance, and resident experience.
You will lead a high-performing team of Clinical Managers, RNs, Care Supervisors, Allied Health partners and support staff to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Aged Care Act reforms.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership across all clinical and care operations
* Lead the Clinical Governance Framework, SIRS processes, risk management and quality systems
* Maintain full accreditation readiness and ensure compliance with all Aged Care Quality Standards
* Oversee resident care planning, assessments, care outcomes and consumer engagement
* Drive continuous improvement, innovation and evidence-based practice
* Lead workforce capability, including staff development, performance management and leadership coaching
* Ensure workforce planning and rostering meet skill-mix and care minute requirements
* Optimise AN-ACC funding and maintain strong financial stewardship of care operations
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, clinical teams, GPs and allied health providers
* Represent BlueWave Living in community, regulatory or sector forums as required
What You'll Bring
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
* 5+ years' senior clinical leadership experience in residential aged care
* Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, SIRS, clinical governance and accreditation
* Deep understanding of AN-ACC, care minutes and aged-care reform requirements
* Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build capability at all levels
* Highly developed communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* A commitment to resident dignity, choice, wellbeing and safety
* Post-graduate qualifications in leadership, aged care or clinical governance (highly desirable)
