**Communications Manager-**This is 12 month Fixed Term/Secondment role**

The Customer, Marketing & Communications (CMC) is responsible for both bringing the customer to life for Bankwest and for bringing Bankwest to life for customers, ensuring all our audiences (colleagues, customers, the community, partners, stakeholders and the local government) understand who Bankwest is.
This Customer Communications Manager role will be in the Customer Engagement Team in CMC, playing an important role in a 12mth project to uplift system generated communications that reach customers at key product lifecycle and experience interactions.
**Your impact & contribution**:
As a writer working on this project, you'll need to balance customer experience and support through their lifecycle with compliance and channel requirements.
**Your responsibilities**
- Actively support the teams working through the communications uplift including prioritising and rewriting 1:1 communications in alignment with the wider communications strategy and business goals.
- Work with data analytics, stakeholders, and marketing peers to clearly articulate a customer need or business problem and identify the right communications solution to deliver the best customer experience.
- Support in the design, build and migration of communications templates onto a new comms platform.
- Identifying opportunities for improved customer journeys or touchpoints that would complement growth and retention outcomes.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve operating efficiency and delivery of communications including support process mapping and transition to new platforms.
**Your skills & experience**
- Strong, versatile copywriting skills with the ability to write across multiple channels and within tone of voice guidelines.
- Proven experience delivering exceptional end to end customer communications programs with strong data and customer insight rationale.
- Strong collaborator with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to bring together diverse groups of people for a common goal.
- Desire to take ownership of assigned projects and work independently, whilst remaining aligned to strategy.
- Awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements for customer communications.
- Experience or comfort in using new or different tech and platforms to make processes and delivery for efficient and effective.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple comms at the same.
- Intermediate MS Office Suite skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Relevant years' experience in a similar role preferred
- Marketing, communications or similar qualification or degree desirable but not essential.
