Description
Join our established and growing business as a Forklift Operator at our Mackay depot. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for moving our freight with a focus on safely loading and unloading tautliners. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual with proven experience in loading multiple trailers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday | 7am start
Responsibilities
* Efficiently and safely unload/reload general freight from body trucks and trailers
* Ensure trailers are maximised for linehaul transportation
* Follow a postcode sheet to place unloaded freight into the correct bays
* Complete all necessary paperwork and scan freight to track movements
* Maintain a steady work pace to meet departure times and maintain accuracy
* Adhere to established safety standards and guidelines

Qualifications
What You Need:
* Current forklift licence
* Previous experience in a similar structured environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a postcode sheet for correct freight placement
* Ability to pass a criminal history check
