Competitive salary.Technical & Engineering Support Technician (permanent, full-time position)We seek an energetic and motivated person to join our Customer Solutions team. The role involves back-up support in liaising with our global customers to provide technical support for our existing products and technical assistance in integrating our OEM and retrofit product solutions. The role also encompasses some technical writing together with participating in the R&D team to assist with tasks, such as product development and testing.Responsibilities:· Basic helpdesk assistance through industry standard ticketing system· Occasionally assist other members of the team with technical communications · Documentation;· Product manual revision as required.· Maintain product drawings library.· Manage customer updates and communication based on engineering revisions as required.· Knowledge capture through standardised documentation. · RMA Evaluation and process management. · Guided product testing as required.· Basic maintenance planning for internal testing systems.· Occasional travel, if required, to provide product training and technical support for our international customers. You must hold or be eligible for an Australian passport.· Availability to provide occasional phone/email support to our international customers outside regular office hours.The Candidate Qualifications are not essential; however, the applicant should possess a background or previous work experience in electrical/electronics, electronic servicing, etc. We require a person who possesses the technical aptitude and willingness to learn, over time, our products at both a hardware and software level, as well as develop the application experience and knowledge specific to our industry.
