About the Role:

As a Key Account Manager at CHG-MERIDIAN ("CHG"), you will be responsible for managing key customer relationships and for driving new customer acquisitions within Australia, relating to large enterprises.

Key to your success will be your ability to understand a customer's technology and equipment acquisition strategy and collaborate with our internal solutions team to deliver a suitable finance offer to suit the customer's needs. With a proven track record in delivering results, you will enjoy building long standing relationships with customers and possess strong problem-solving skills. You will also demonstrate effective planning, apply innovative thinking, and relish working in a diverse and fast paced environment.

Your Task & Responsibilities:

* Establish a customer portfolio of long-term large enterprise customers in Australia utilising industrial equipment and technology.
* Understand client requirements in the industrial sector, for example propose tailored material handling solutions including forklifts, AGVs, or full intralogistics setups.
* Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and technological innovations in intralogistics, warehouse automation and manufacturing.
* Develop strategic account plans, conduct regular business reviews, and track sales KPIs.
* Always be seeking to acquire new customers and expand share of wallet with your current customer base.
* Identify, develop, evaluate, and pursue leads and opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline of sales.
* Develop a sales strategy for your region/sector that aligns with CHG's growth objectives.
* Confidently engage and present CHG's product offering to key decision makers, such as procurement managers, Head's of department or C-Suite, of target customers.
* Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders of the technology and equipment supply chain, including OEMs, distributors and resellers.
* Maintain accurate customer records in CRM and other relevant systems.
* Own various general responsibilities as requested and assigned.

Your Skills & Competencies

* Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience required.
* Ability to drive new opportunities with new customers; through prospecting, outbound calls, virtual selling and video calls.
* Communicate, create interest and carry strategic discussions with customers.
* Competent in operating lease model structure and terminology
* Have a proactive mindset, exhibit initiative and self-direction.
* Work in a team environment and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
* Demonstrate strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
* Strong willingness to learn and be open to challenges.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
* Well organised and detailed oriented.
