GAME CONTRACTING QLD PTY LTD GAME Contracting QLD Pty Ltd is seeking a proactive and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee all aspects of fleet operations, maintenance, compliance and logistics. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that the company's vehicle and plant fleet is safe, efficient, well-maintained, and aligned with operational needs. Fleet Manager, requiring strong organisational, leadership and regulatory compliance skills to support a diverse fleet across project sites in Queensland and beyond.
Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package Full-time, ongoing position with career development possibilities Lead and shape fleet strategy in a growing contracting business Supportive leadership, clear reporting, and collaborative culture Opportunity to work across diverse project sites and fleet assets Professional development opportunities, including training and certifications Work closely with operations and senior leadership to drive performance improvement Task & responsibilities Oversee fleet operations, including scheduling, allocation, purchasing, selling and utilizing of vehicles and plant Develop and implement fleet policies, procedures, and maintenance schedules Manage routine servicing, repairs, breakdown response, and maintenance contracts Ensure all fleet assets comply with heavy vehicle regulations, safety standards and licensing requirements Monitor fuel consumption, operating costs, and identify cost-effective solutions Coordinate vehicle procurement, registration, insurance and lifecycle replacement planning Support budgeting and reporting for the fleet, including cost analysis and KPI tracking Supervise and lead fleet support personnel, including drivers and maintenance staff Maintain accurate fleet records, asset documentation, and compliance logs Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to support operational needs Qualification & experience Certificate IV or Diploma in Fleet Management, Logistics, Business or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 1 years of experience in fleet management, transport coordination or similar operational leadership role Knowledge of vehicle and heavy plant safety standards, compliance rules, and registration requirements Strong organizational, planning and time-management skills Proficiency with fleet management systems and MS Office tools Excellent communication and management skills Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively across functions Experience in construction, civil operations, mining services or infrastructure environments an advantage About Company Game Contracting QLD Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned contracting business delivering specialised civil, mechanical, and infrastructure support services across Queensland and other regions of Australia.
