The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and corporate secretarial work. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a close-knit team, maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and client service excellence. The role will be accountable for the following:
* Support end-to-end administration requirements of the client files in a fast-moving environment.
* Corporate secretarial work, ATO communications and lodgements.
* Support a team of Accountants with specialised administration support.
* Onboard new clients, including but not limited to preparation of engagement letters, tracking ethical responses and setting up client groups.
* Preparation and collation of documents on behalf of Accountants.
* Preparation of invoices.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you'll need the following:
* Proven track record and stable experience in a similar role within an Accounting Practice or Business Advisory Practice
* Experience in using Xero, Xero Practice Manager DEXT, NowInfinity and ACIS
* Great communication skills both written & verbal
* Attention to Detail
* A positive 'can do attitude'
* Client centric thinking
* Organised and able to meet deadlines
