About The Role
The Emergency Department services the Grampians region for all urgent medical needs. It consists of 25 beds, including 12 short stay units and 3 resuscitation bays.
We offer a mix of Emergency Department skill sets, including triage, resuscitation cubicles, acute cubicles, minor injury - fast tracks, and a short-stay unit. Open 24 hours, with a variety of rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities
1. Providing general nursing care, including primary and secondary surveys.
2. Participating in bridging programs to work toward resus and triage areas.
3. Working rosters that include days and nights across a 7-day week.
Skills And Experience
1. Current AHPRA Registration.
2. Postgraduate certificate/diploma in Critical Care Nursing (Emergency Specialist).

This position is paid according to the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9), with a pay range of $40.15 - $50.68 per hour.

Salary Information
This position is paid according to the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Enrolled Nurse Grade 2 (IB68 - IB72), with a pay range of $32.85 - $34.95 per hour, and Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9), with a pay range of $34.17 - $48.26 per hour.
