Occupational Therapist Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to fill this dynamic position. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients of various ages and abilities, assessing their needs and providing interventions to enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess clients' needs and develop personalized plans to improve their functional ability
* Prescribe assistive technology, including wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, scooters, commodes, hospital beds, and mobile hoists
* Conduct complex home modifications assessments and provide recommendations for bathroom alterations, ramp installations, and other home improvements
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, client-centered care

Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
* Minimum of 2 years' experience prescribing Assistive Technology or Complex Home Modifications
* A valid driver's license
* National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain these)
